What is Solution ?

Solution are homogeneous mixture of two or more than two components. Homogeneous means composition and properties are uniform throughout the mixture.

Solution is made up solute and solvent.

Component that is present in largest quantity in solution is known as Solute.

One or more components present in the solution other than solvent are called Solutes.

A Solution which contains two components one is solute and another is solvent than the solution is said to be a Binary solution. 

Binary Soluion = Solvent + Solute

Types of Solution

There are three types of solution.

1. Gaseous Solution  2. Liquid Solution  3. Solid Solution
